Can you import a specific item for me? 
Yes, sometimes, maybe… We can most definitely try and accommodate special requests as we import direct from South Africa, but bear in mind we buy from wholesalers so ordering 1 packet of something for instance is not going to be possible as we would need to order a “Box” or “Case” quantity, so we would need to then see if it is something worth stocking on our site or if you would like a large quantity for yourself personally, then we can possibly oblige. Also shipments are made every couple of months and take 6-8 weeks to arrive so there will be some delay. Please also remember that any special requests cannot contain dairy or animal products or be medicines or hazardous chemicals etc. The reason for this is answered in the FAQ below, ‘Do you sell…?’ You can chat to us directly about what it is that you fancy via the contact form on the site, or via email at howzit@sa2eu.com or call us on +34 711 05 80 26.

Unfortunately not. These foods contain South African animal products and South Africa does not have an EU approved Residue Control Plan in place which is necessary for the import of such items. We have, however, been able to get some like for like, equivalent type chocolates and biscuits from the UK and Australia which are made with EU approved dairy. 

Do you sell any South African wines?
At this time, we do not stock and sell South African wines. The price and quality of Spanish, French and Portuguese wines is fantastic so we have very few requests for SA wines. We will however look to add some in the future should the demand and/or requests increase.

Do you sell medicines and vitamins like Grandpa, Dispirin, etc.?
Unfortunately, no. There are restrictions on these kinds of products, and we are not licensed to import or sell these.

Do you sell cosmetics?
Generally no. We have however, brought in one or two specifically requested items like Camphor Cream for customers, so send us a mail and let us know what you are looking for and we can see if we can get it in for you.

Do you sell fresh boerewors?
At this time, we unfortunately don’t sell readymade Boerewors. Logistically we cannot safely and reliably offer it, sending a fresh product is a lot different to sending say a box of rusks. It is happening though, We are actively looking into it and we’ll hopefully have it all worked out to offer sometime this year - 2021. Until then, we have some awesome boerewors spices available for you to make your own at home, or to take to your local butcher for them to make for you.

How long will it take to ship my order?
Shipped on day of order or next working day. If you place your order on a weekday before 12:00, the order will be shipped the same day, otherwise it will be sent off the very next day. We do not ship any orders on the weekend, so if you place your order after 12:00 on Friday or anytime on the weekend, then your order will be shipped on Monday morning. This does not include public holidays.

How long does delivery take and how much does delivery cost?

Can I track my parcel during delivery?
Yes of course, once a parcel is dispatched from our premises, you will receive email communications from us that your order has been fulfilled and dispatched together with tracking details of your parcel. If you have any queries relating to your parcel, please contact Correos Express as they will be able to give you immediate and correct details on the status and whereabouts of your parcel. Parcels are usually delivered between 8 am - 6 pm. Unfortunately, we cannot arrange or guarantee delivery by a specific time. A tracking number will be emailed for easy track and trace of the parcel.

Can I get a delivery on the weekend?
We do not ship any orders on the weekend per se, but we can make special arrangements if contacted before placing your order. Delivery fees for this will vary to our standard delivery costs.

Can I order products to be collected?
Yes, no problem. We are an online only store and do not have a walk in shop to peruse and shop around, but you can most definitely collect from us if you are in or coming through the Mojacar area. You will select the "collect" option of “delivery” at checkout and we will advise you as soon as your order is ready to collect. Collections need to be between 9am and 17:00 Monday to Friday unless otherwise pre-arranged with us for collection outside of these times.
