KWV is one of the most renowned producers of spirits in South Africa and boasts a strong heritage. KWV began with humble beginnings in 1918 and has since grown into a worldwide producer of spirits with more than 100 products.
The KWV 10 Year brandy regularly receives prestigious awards at popular spirit competitions. Most notably, it collected a Gold Medal at the 2018 World Brandy Awards.
With a deep amber colour, KWV 10 Year Old contains complex, dried-fruit and port-wine aroma, enhanced by subtle spicy and nutty flavours. KWV 10 Year Old is full-bodied, with a lingering, fruity, and slightly sweet finish.

Built on a 300 year heritage, KWV 5 Year Old Brandy is quality in a bottle. The smooth, amber coloured liquid, is produced from carefully selected wines, double-distilled in copper pot stills then followed by 5 years of maturation in small oak casks. Renowned for its versatility, this brandy is a celebration of the art of blending by KWV’s renowned brandy masters.
Tasting Notes – Bright copper colour with a gold ochre hue. An opulent bouquet includes dried fig, raisins, clove and toffee apple. Christmas pudding, dried figs and café-crème on the palate. Toffee apple and vanilla aftertaste.
Produced from grapes from some of the best viticultural regions in South Africa, KWV is regularly hailed as pioneers of wine and brandy since their early beginnings dating back to 1918.
At the 2017 World Brandy Awards, their 5 Year release was awarded a silver medal. More recently, it was named a category winner at the same awards in 2018.
